Laser Tattoo Remover PL-1 (picolaser)
Latest generation
He is based on the absorption of light energy by the tattoo pigments. In this way, the particles break up and the body gradually absorbs the ink in the weeks following the session.

What does the PL-1 laser tattoo remover do?
The choice of laser is crucial to its effectiveness on the tattoo, depending on its characteristics, safety and expected results. Here’s everything you need to know about the lasers we use. Specialized centers offer two lasers recognized as effective for tattoo removal, and which cause no damage to the skin: the Q Switched laser and the Pico laser. These types of laser are based on the same principle: a light wave is propelled at very high speed, targeting the tattoo pigments and fragmenting them thanks to the pulse effect. The effectiveness and safety of these lasers is widely recognized for various laser treatments, including tattoo removal. The Q Switched laser operates at light-wave propagation speeds of the nanosecond order (10 to the power of 9 seconds), while the Pico laser, the result of new technological advances, operates at pico seconds (10 to the power of 12 seconds). The new-generation laser therefore sends out a wave a thousand times faster than its predecessor.
What is a picosecond laser?
The picosecond laser breaks down melanin and initiates the repair mechanism at the same time, promoting collagen regeneration and proliferation. The Picosecond laser’s fast, powerful crushing capability considerably reduces the risk of thermal damage. The risk of melanin reactivation is relatively low.
What are the advantages of the Pico laser for tattoo removal?
Pico Second technology offers many advantages:
- With a propagation speed 1000 times faster than the Q Switched laser, the Pico laser enables tattoo pigments to be targeted even more precisely and broken down into even finer particles, facilitating their elimination by the macrophage system.
- As very fine particles are eliminated more quickly by the body, Pico laser tattoo removal requires fewer sessions than other lasers.
- The skin heals more quickly, so the time between sessions is reduced: around 1 month versus 2 months for the Q Switched laser.
- The total number of sessions required to remove the tattoo is reduced compared to other lasers.
- The Pico laser is less painful thanks to its ultra-fast speed of action, and less aggressive for the skin.
- Thanks to its extreme precision, the Pico laser effectively removes all types of tattoo pigment, even the most difficult-to-treat colors.
- The Pico seconde laser is effective and guarantees optimum safety on all skin types, including darker skins.
- The incomparable speed of this laser means that only the ink pigments in the tattoo are targeted: the surrounding skin is thus totally preserved.
- Pico Second laser tattoo removal has no side effects and no social constraints after the sessions. Only a little redness may appear on the treated area, which will fade after 3 or 4 days.
01. Best treatment result
With a short pulse width of 450ps, melanin granules are crushed immediately, reducing the number of treatment sessions.
02. No skin damage
The picosecond laser eliminates pigmentation and launches the skin’s repair mechanism at the same time, promoting collagen regeneration and skin rejuvenation.
03. Deep pigmentation removal
The 1064nm wavelength does not damage normal tissue. The melanin absorption peak at 1064nm is much higher than with ordinary lasers. The melanin absorption peak at 1064nm is much higher than that of the ordinary Q-switched laser, which means that the energy required to work on normal skin is low. There are no serious injuries or thermal damage to the dermis after treatment.
04. 1000 mj ultra-high energy single pulse
The ultra-high energy of 1000 mj can destroy the pigment more deeply, with less damage. The treatment process is safer and more comfortable.
05. High uniform point technology
Uniform spot technology ensures even transmission of all energy and avoids excessive loss of normal epidermal tissue. The treatment process is safer.
Peeling with the picolaser tattoo remover – Hollywood Carbon Peel
A peel is a non-invasive aesthetic technique that exfoliates and renews the skin’s surface layer, improving its appearance, texture and luminosity. This procedure also stimulates collagen and elastin production, contributing to firmer, more elastic skin. The machine offers a carbon-based peel called “Hollywood Carbon Peel”. The benefits of peeling include the reduction of fine lines and wrinkles, the fading of pigment spots, the reduction in the appearance of acne scars and the general revitalization of the skin, giving it a fresher, younger appearance. It should be noted that our picolaser PL-1 tattoo removal machine offers the possibility of performing peels, making it a versatile, high-performance choice for aesthetic professionals. Thanks to this feature, customers benefit from a wide range of treatments to meet their specific skincare needs.
